Lucas Bravo loved speaking French in ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 4
“Emily in Paris” actor Lucas Bravo sat down with USA TODAY’s Ralphie Aversa to talk about Season 4 and how it felt yelling at Lily Collins in French.

The new season of “Emily in Paris” might go on without one of its beloved cast members.
Camille Razat, who plays Emily’s frenemy, Camille, does not appear to be returning for Season 5 of the hit Netflix show, according to an April 17 cast announcement.
The series, released in October 2020, follows the life of Emily Cooper as she navigates life, love, work and everything in between after landing her dream marketing job in Paris, France.
Last time viewers saw Emily, she was in Rome visiting the birthplace of her new beau, Marcello Franceschini, who is an Italian fashion scion with big ambitions for his tight-nit family’s cashmere empire. Meanwhile, Emily’s on-again, off-again suitor Gabriel is doing everything he can to earn a Michelin star for his restaurant.
A massive career opportunity arises for Emily at the end of Season 4, leading her to decide on her future, one that involves leaving a certain love interest behind.
“We’re thrilled with the incredible response to this season of ‘Emily in Paris’ and excited to return for a fifth to continue Emily’s adventures in Rome and Paris!” show creator Darren Star told Tudum. “Emily in Paris” is scheduled to start filming its fifth season in Rome in May and will premiere later this year.
USA TODAY reached out to Netflix on April 18 about Razat’s future on “Emily in Paris.”
Here is what we know so far.
Season 5 to explore new relationship, show creator says
While some may still be rooting for Emily to patch things up with Gabriel, the focus of this upcoming season will be Emily’s relationship with Marcello, Star told Tudum. Collins can’t help but be excited for her character’s upcoming storyline.
“Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work/life balance,” Collins recently told “Good Morning America.” “We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode. And he comes at that perfect time.”
Star agrees, telling Tudum the pair has a “real spark and a real connection and a real romantic connection.”
Collins doesn’t seem completely opposed to her character, one day, finding her happily ever after with Gabriel. But right now, she said he has to “deal with the repercussions of his choice.”
